The Olympic Park Legacy Company will oversee this transformation over the next 3 decades to create a “must see, must return” destination for domestic and international visitors. No host city has ever established such an organisation for its Olympic legacy so far in advance of the Games.

Olympic Park Parklands design in legacyThe area will be home to five world-class sports and events venues, new open spaces, 22 miles of cycle paths and footpaths, four miles of waterways, exceptional transport links and the largest urban shopping centre in Europe, encompassing 1.9 million square feet and featuring over 300 world class brands.

The Olympic Stadium and many of the other iconic venues will host a wide range of sporting, entertainment and cultural events. Other opportunities currently being explored include visitor attractions and conferencing so watch this space.
